Lemongrass in its splendor…

I know we all associate lemongrass to large grass like plants to help keep mosquitoes away but did you know there are so many other benefits to Lemongrass Essential Oil?

Because of the sweet floral aroma Lemongrass is great for uplifting the spirits and relieving depression and anxiety. It is a great pain reliever and helps ease tension in the joints and muscles you can put 1 to 2 drops in a bath for a soothing relaxing bath to help with the aches and pains. Lemongrass is also a great antiseptic just put a few drops in a carrier oil and apply topically to your owies.

Another thing I love using Lemongrass in are my cleaners due to their antimicrobial and antifungal properties they work best for cleaning around the bathroom and kitchen. Plus the smell is amazing and fresh you feel great as you clean and use it each time instead of feeling like you need to wear a facemask just to clean the tub and tiles in the bathrooms.

Now I have trouble sleeping and staying asleep and have suffered from Insomnia for the past three years I have to say Lemongrass has been my savior! I have a diffuser next to my bed and of course I use it with lavender and that helps to relax me but I read on a great website (https://www.organicfacts.net/health-benefits/essential-oils/health-benefits-of-lemongrass-essential-oil.html ) that it helps with insomnia so I decided to try it with my Lavender and I am amazed at how much of a difference it has made. I feel so refreshed and wake up less than before, thank you Lemongrass!!

One thing I was very impressed with is that Lemongrass has been known to help aid in the symptoms of vertigo along with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease due to it strengthens the nervous system. Now that is impressive!

I encourage you to try Lemongrass in many different ways it is one of my favorites and smells amazing!
