Psoriasis and Eczema Sucks, but Oils help…

Psoriasis is characterized by “plaques”, or areas of red, scaly sometimes inflamed skin. These areas develop when skin production is faster than the body’s ability to shed it. There is no cure for psoriasis, but there are things you can do to ease the discomfort and possibly speed the healing of the effective area.

I personally suffer from scalp Psoriasis along with Eczema on my tummy. I have found solace in Essential Oils and the relieve they bring during break outs. Unlike most prescriptions that I have used which contain steroids and other chemicals Essential Oils can help naturally. I have also noticed that they work much better than the prescription drugs out there. Due to their anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties I have found the following recipe to work wonders.

Scalp Psoriasis Oil

2 oz Jojoba Oil

30 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

10 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil

10 Drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil

10 Drops Rosemary Essential Oil

Mix in a 2 oz flip top bottle and apply onto scalp to ease itching and flaky skin due to Psoriasis breakouts. Once a week to prevent flare-ups apply to scalp at night and cover with shower cap for 1 hour and wash out or leave in overnight if needed.

Eczema is not so fun either. I have found that my Moisturizing Body Butter I make and sell on my online store helps with any dry skin issues whether it is Eczema, Psoriasis or just dry chapped skin from washing your hands to much or the winter weather. If you would like relief from this check out my store and pick yours up today! (http://www.hopefaithhealthblog.com/417934863/product/1424111/moisturizing-body-butter?catid=408412)

I hope you find this information useful and helpful.
