Whipped Body Butter Yummy (for your skin)!!

Dry chapped skin needs love and there is no better way than Whipped Body Butter! It is soft, silky and feels so nice when you put it on your skin. With the winter setting in dry skin is inevitable, but this is a great way to return the moisture is with a rich body butter. I made one that I am in love with and use daily! It has Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Sweet Almond Oil as the base and to that you can add any Essential Oils you choose I did Sweet Orange and Lavender which adds a wonderful light sent to the butter.

I found this formula to feel less greasy than any other I have tried and it absorbs quickly into the skin replenishing its moisture. Another great thing about this product is that it is all natural! A little goes along way as well I can use a dime size for both hands and arms. It melts right into the skin and creates a barrier that will hold moisture into the skin and heal any dry skin issues you may have it is especially great for the cuticles of the nails that seem to get the brunt of dry winter skin.

Here is a recipe that I use and I hope you find it as wonderful as I do. If you don’t want to make it but would LOVE to get some I do have it available in my online store! (

Whipped Body Butter

1 cup Shea Butter

½ Cup Coconut Oil

½ Cup Sweet Almond Oil

Melt everything in a glass or metal bowl over a double boiler until all melted. Place in the fridge to cool until slightly solidified (you should be able to make an indent in the middle with your finger). Use a hand mixer or standing mixer to whip to soft peaks like you would whipping cream. Place into jars with lids, can make 3-4 eight ounce jars. Enjoy. You can add essential oils of your choice before you mix it up or just use it as is.

I hope you enjoyed this post and get a chance to use this body butter it really is amazing.
